6th Grade Thunder Volleyball

6th Grade – 12U Thunder Volleyball

Players in 6th grade will participate in an 8-week league held at Southeast Polk Jr. High on Sundays beginning in January. This league is a great introduction to the sport of volleyball! The focus of this level is skill development and technique along with introductory team concepts. Players also learn introductory officiating and line judging.

6th grade teams are balanced teams. All participants are put on a team which will be determined once practice has begun. The number of teams will depend on available coaches and practice space.

Practice requirements: One 1.5-hour practice per week
COST: $350 includes new uniform (no longer using last year’s style)

12U League Director, Shonelle Sutton

If you do not receive a bid, you will still have the option to play in the SE Polk league.
